How do I know if coaching or therapy is right for me?
Therapy is typically focused on exploring and healing past experiences, managing mental health conditions, and fostering personal growth. If you’re dealing with deep-seated emotional issues or mental health concerns, therapy may be the right choice. Therapy will also most likely involve a mental health diagnosis and consider your medical history and status.
Coaching, on the other hand, is future-oriented and goal-driven. It’s ideal for individuals seeking support in achieving specific objectives, enhancing performance, or navigating life transitions. While coaching may involve exploring how your current mindset is influenced by past experiences, it is more focused on empowering you to set and achieve specific goals, overcome obstacles, and create a proactive plan for success in the present and future.
Ultimately, the decision depends on your unique circumstances and goals. Feel free to reach out, and we can discuss which option is the best fit for you.

What is a Good Faith Estimate?
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

What is Internal Family Systems (IFS)?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic model that understands each person as having different “parts” or inner voices that develop to help us navigate life. By approaching these parts with curiosity and compassion, IFS supports healing and helps create a more balanced inner life. I incorporate an IFS-informed approach in my work, drawing on its principles and techniques while honoring each person’s unique inner experience. Please note that I am not IFS-certified, but I use IFS concepts in a supportive and respectful way to guide our work together.
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a guided therapeutic technique that uses relaxation and focused attention to access the subconscious mind, helping to uncover and resolve deep-seated patterns, beliefs, and emotions. Somatic therapy is an approach to healing that works with the mind and body together. As a Certified Somatic Therapy Foundations Practitioner, I’m trained to help you gently tune into physical sensations, regulate your nervous system, and release stored tension in a safe, supported way. This allows us to go beyond insight and create deeper, lasting change at the root—not just manage symptoms.
